Dispensationalism
A dispensation simply defined is a dispensing of Divine revelation or Divine will that involves a stewardship in (temporal) time or throughout human history, including the time yet to come in the Millennial Kingdom of Christ before the final, eternal state in the new creation.
I believe there are 4 dispensations throughout human history.
I believe Scripture recognizes distinctive periods in time in which God has had differing peoples (agents) for His purposes of showing forth His holiness and salvation.
Those 4 peoples/ periods are
The Family Priest or Patriarchal (heads of households like Adam, Enoch, Noah, Job, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob),
Israel under the Old Covenant,
the Church under the New Covenant, and
Israel under the New Covenant in the “Millennium.”
I believe that in eternity, there will be no distinctions as there were throughout time, for all believers will dwell in the new Jerusalem--the "mother of us all" Galatians 4.26.
